Product extension: Harvy2 current sensor with external antenna

The Harvy2 LoRaWAN current sensor gets a range upgrade! Thanks to valuable field reports from our customers, we have now also been able to optimise the Harvy2 for locations where LoRaWAN previously reached its limits.

Equipped with an external antenna connection, we have once again significantly increased the range of our tried-and-tested current sensor. This product extension is available both in the version with a hinged current transformer and with Rogowski coils.

The highlights at a glance:

  • Outstanding transmission performance: Ideal for buildings with solid walls or low-lying installation locations (e.g. basements).
  • Impressive rangeIn initial practical tests in the urban area of Berlin, 9.21 km were achieved - and that from inside a building without a direct line of sight to the LoRaWAN gateway.
  • Maximum flexibility: Either use the external magnetic base antenna we offer (in a set with the Harvy2) or connect a LoRaWAN antenna of your choice thanks to the standardised SMA connection.

The ideal solution for industry & smart city

Our new Harvy2 product extension is therefore the first choice for extensive industrial sites and complex smart city projects. Wherever large distances need to be bridged and thick building structures need to be penetrated, the Harvy2 with external antenna guarantees reliable data transmission of your measured current values.

Status: The first batch is already in production! The new Harvy2 with external antenna connection is expected to be available in the 1st quarter of 2026.
