ESG-compliant data collection in approx. 1,900 shops in 22 European countries

In an ambitious project, the DOUGLAS Group is relying on deZem's expertise to implement ESG-compliant data collection in approximately 1,900 stores across 22 European countries in just 10 months. 1,100 stores have already been installed within the first 6 months, with the rest to follow in the coming weeks – far ahead of schedule.
Aided by the Companion App, installation teams equip each store with twelve of deZem's Harvy2 LoRaWAN current sensors, which monitor both the total electric load and the specific electricity demand for lighting and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning). The collected data is visualized in the deZem DataSuite providing valuable insights that lay the foundation for in-depth analysis and substantial cost savings.
The outlook is promising
Significant (without investment and easily achievable) efficiency potentials are already emerging in many branches within the first few weeks after installation. Given the economies of scale from approximately 1,900 branches, the investment for the DOUGLAS Group is expected to pay for itself in a very short time.

Which products are used?
Harvy2 LoRaWAN current sensor
Three current sensors are used per shop to measure 12 measuring points (total consumption, lighting and HVAC). A total of approx. 5,700 Harvy2 are used.
deZem DataSuite
The analysis tool for comparisons with historical data or within different locations. The Douglas Group uses it to record around 22,800 measurement traces from all shops.
