deZem Energy Management Software eligible for BAFA funding
The deZem Software Suite is officially listed by the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) as eligible energy management software.
Measures to increase energy efficiency make a significant contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions and thus to climate protection, but they are often associated with high investment costs.
To encourage such initiatives, companies and public organisations can apply for grants under the Federal Funding Programme for Energy Efficiency in Industry. Funding is available, among other things, for the purchase, installation and implementation of software and hardware used in energy or environmental management systems.
The maximum funding per investment project amounts to 15 million euros, with a subsidy rate of up to 40 per cent of eligible investment costs.
Since the amendment of the programme on 1 November 2021, eligible Energy management software must comply with DIN EN ISO 50001 and be supported by a corresponding declaration of conformity. The deZem Software Suite meets these requirements and is listed by BAFA as an eligible energy management software solution.
At the same time, it has become easier for companies to apply for funding, as they themselves no longer need to be certified according to DIN EN ISO 50001 or EMAS. Comprehensive information on funding criteria and application procedures can be found on the BAFA website.
