Electronics technician IoT (m/f/d) wanted

We are looking for innovation-minded colleagues to join our technical team! You are an electronics technician (switching authorisation up to 1000 VAC is a welcome bonus) and have an interest in - and ideally experience with - automation and IoT.

Your main focus will be the setup and expansion of our deZem measurement system at customer sites, as well as integrating innovative sensors - both in-house and external - into the deZem system. Our in-house office automation serves as a “playground” for you and your colleagues and is continuously developed and improved.

How and where:

Preferably full-time, start at any time. Your place of work is our office in Berlin-Charlottenburg with excellent transport connections, no traffic noise, sunny terrace, great diverse team ...

Your tasks:

Preparing and implementing customer projects for sensor systems (current, temperature, and more)

  • Technical support for quotation preparation
  • Ordering external hardware (requesting quotes, comparing, placing orders)
  • Configuration, system and functional tests before shipment or installation
  • Customer service
  • Installation, connection, and commissioning
  • Independently solving technical problems
  • Building and installing control cabinets
  • Documenting results
Ensuring smooth operations and further development:
  • Managing stock and workshop
  • Incoming goods inspections
  • Testing and integrating new IoT sensors and other products
  • Calibrating metering instruments
  • DGUV inspections

Your profile:

  • Completed training as an electrician (or comparable) with a qualification for live working up to 1000 VAC; further professional experience welcome
  • Knowledge and / or willingness for further training in the following areas: IoT, LoRaWAN, Raspberry Pi, Node-RED, sensor technology, control system
  • Interest in monitoring, automation and visualisation of metered values
  • Competent and solution-orientated communication with customers/service providers
  • Pragmatic, curious, quality-orientated, team player
  • Systematic, structured and independent way of working
  • Very good written and spoken German (min. C1)
  • Good written and spoken English skills (min. B1) or willingness to participate in English training courses
