Implementing ambitious climate protection goals at the municipal level often poses a financial challenge. As part of the German Federal Government’s Climate Action Plan 2050, new municipal guidelines have been established and a funding programme launched which helps municipalities and other local actors to take up smart energy management. The funding helps to take the first steps together with deZem towards sustainable and ecological energy management.

To develop efficient energy management, the collection and analysis of data, i.e. energy controlling, is a key component. With the help of energy controlling, hidden problems are uncovered by measuring and analysing energy data in detail. This creates the necessary transparency. deZem provides not only the required Metering technology (data loggers and sensors) but also a mature software platform suitable for ISO 50001 and offers guidance and advice on the path from the metering concept to implementation.

About deZem

Since 2003, deZem has been developing and supplying hardware and software to network and analyse sensor data from many heterogeneous sources - worldwide with projects in Europe, America and Asia. Originally started in the field of energy controlling, we have expanded our range of products and services over the years into a comprehensive system for IoT data management, from industrial analytics to plant and process monitoring to technical building management. Because the basic idea is the same: to create a scalable platform for collecting and analysing IoT data.
